Background of the Company

Kingfisher is a family business founded in 1993.

Chairman Robert Sellars first started in the traffic sign industry in 1972 and over the years has managed major projects in the Offshore Oil Industry, Education, Hospitals, Hotels and the Cruise Ship Industry.

Robert Sellars is a member of the Sign Design Society and has been involved in the production of the Fire Safety Standard BS5499.

Director Ian Sellars is responsible for design and installation.

Joy Sellars is responsible for corporate and promotional clothing.


Services

Though we have a 48-page catalogue of stock items, most of our clients need signs tailored to suit their particular needs. Whatever the scale of your sign project – from a single sign to the total branding of multi-site premises - we can offer you a nationwide, one-stop-shop solution.

We can help your branding requirements by designing a Corporate Identity Scheme, which incorporates stationery, vehicle livery and promotional clothing needs.

Standards

All our safety and traffic signs are produced to British Standard, Taktyle Signage is produced to RNIB guidelines, and fire extinguishers supplied are Kite Marked and produced in the West Midlands. Our Fire Risk Assessment Consultant, Roy Evans, is a member of the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers.
